Quick Tow ATL Metro Atlanta referral line
Fuel Delivery

Out of gas? A can of fuel can come to you.

Running dry on the Perimeter is embarrassing and unsafe. Standing on a shoulder with a gas can is worse. Quick Tow ATL connects you with independent roadside operators who bring a few gallons to where you stopped, and the line takes calls 24/7. We do not own trucks. If the operator cannot reach you or the problem is not fuel, they can tow you to a pump.

Straight answers on fuel delivery

Is it safe to wait on the shoulder?

Georgia law (O.C.G.A. § 40-6-203) bars stopping on a controlled-access highway except when necessary. If you ran dry, move as far onto the shoulder as you can, turn on hazards and stay buckled in the car until help arrives.

What about stopping near Hartsfield-Jackson?

Parking or stopping on airport shoulders and ramps can draw fines from $50 to more than $350, plus tow and impound, and storage at the airport impound runs $2.50 a day after the first day. If you stall near the airport, tell the line exactly where.

Will a few gallons be enough to restart the car?

Usually, though a diesel may need priming and some cars need a few tries after a dry tank. The operator can explain how much is enough, and you should still refill at the nearest station.

Can I call for gas if my car is in a garage?

Yes, with permission from the garage staff. Fuel cans are often barred inside decks, so the operator may need to move the car out or give instructions for filling at ground level.
